Monday, April 22, 2002

Todd had occupational and physical therapy again today. He used the skateboards and worked on stretching and range of motion. He learned to play power soccer. A box is attached to his feet and he uses his wheel chair to move around a big soccer ball. Todd said he can feel a small patch on the top of his right arm between his elbow and his wrist. When it is scratched, he is able to sense the touch.

The weather turned beautiful today. It is in the 80s and very mild. Todd had another physical therapy session today where he proned. They also videotaped him feeding himself. The tape will be used by his therapists for evaluation purposes when he gets back home.

Wednesday, April 24, 2002

Todd had occupational and physical therapy today. They are working on arms to strengthen them and to increase his mobility using his mobile arm support. Todd received a hair cut from Jason's sister, Ashley.

Thursday, April 25, 2002

Once again the day included occupational and physical therapy. When Todd returned to the apartment, he and mom had dinner with the other families in the complex. Dillon's mom cooked country fried steak.

Friday, April 26, 2002

Todd had therapy today until 1PM. Mom went to Block Buster to get rent some more movies. They are working on Todd's discharge plan and the equipment he will need once he gets back home. Jeff left for home in Boston today.

Saturday, April 27, 2002

This is the second weekend without any visitors. Today was a very dreary and rainy day. Todd and mom stayed in all day and slept.

Sunday, April 28, 2002

Not much happening today either. Todd and mom went up the street to eat at Longhorn's again.
