The beginning of the end. Todd had both therapies again today.  He had another chance to prone.  Todd also did some stretching exercises and had a muscle test which went well.  Only 4 more days until they come home.

Tuesday, April 30, 2002

Todd did the usual therapies and mom began packing for home.  Only 3 more days to go.

Wednesday, May 1, 2002

Todd had discussions with his occupational therapist concerning his schedule of activities once he returns home.  Mom continues to ship boxes home.  2 more days.

Thursday, May 2, 2002

Last full day.  It is difficult saying goodbye to everyone who has been so helpful.  You will all be missed alot. Just 1 more day!

Friday, May 3, 2002

Mom processes discharge papers and heads to the airport with the help of Shepherd Center folks.  Todd boards a Delta 737 for home.  Mom and Todd get first class seat assignments.  The plane is delayed an hour but they finally arrive at 6:00.  Dad helps Todd out of the plane, to his chair and into the car.

Home at Last !
